How it works
One account for both sides — most people end up doing both.
If you want something
- 01
Post a request, or order from a listing
Say what you want, the size and your budget — or pick from what shoppers are listing right now.
- 02
Compare offers
Shoppers heading there send offers. Ask questions in the comments, check their reviews, then accept one.
- 03
Receive it, then review
Follow the order from receipt photo to handover. Confirm when it's in your hands.
If you're the one going
- 01
Post where you're shopping
Pick the shop, market or event from Google Maps. Add photos so people back home can see what's there.
- 02
Open a listing
List what you can get, with prices and a limit on orders. Accept the offers you want.
- 03
Shop and hand over
Each accepted offer becomes a tracked order. Upload the receipt, deliver, build your reputation.
Listings
An open PO, without the spreadsheet.
Shoppers list what they can get, with prices and a limit. Buyers ask in the comments, pick what they want and make an offer. Accepted offers become tracked orders, and when the limit's reached it sells out on its own.
- Per-item prices, with totals worked out for the buyer
- Only accepted orders count towards the limit
- Delist anytime — pending offers are declined for you
For personal shoppers
Already taking orders in your DMs?
Give your followers a proper place to order from. It's free, and there's no commission on what you earn.
- A shopper page for your link-in-bio, with your live listings
- Followers are notified the moment you post from a shop or open a listing
- “Me too” on requests shows you what's wanted most before you go
- Comments, offers, chat, tracking and reviews in one place
Every order leaves a paper trail.
Shopper2U doesn't hold your money — you pay your shopper directly. So every step of an order happens in the open, and it only completes when you say so.
Read the safety tipsOffer accepted
Price and details are agreed in writing, in the app — not in a DM thread that gets lost.
Bought, receipt uploaded
The shopper adds a photo of the receipt and the item when they buy it.
Handed over
In person when they're back, or by post with a tracking number.
You confirm receipt
The order only completes once the item is in your hands.
Both sides review
Reviews are public on every profile. Reports go to a human moderator.
Questions
Anything else? hello@shopper2u.com
What is Shopper2U?
A free community that connects people who want something from abroad with travellers and personal shoppers who are already going there. Post a request, get offers, and receive your item — or post your trip and shop for people back home.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Shopper2U charges no platform or service fees. You pay only the price you agree with your shopper, directly to them. The app is supported by ads.
How do payments work?
Payments are arranged directly between buyer and shopper (for example DuitNow, bank transfer or cash on handover). Shopper2U does not process payments. Never pay through links sent in chat, and check reviews before you pay.
How do I know a shopper is trustworthy?
Every shopper has a public profile with two-way reviews, completed orders and trip history. Shoppers upload receipt photos when they buy, orders only complete when the buyer confirms receipt, and moderators review every report.
What can't I request?
Counterfeits, weapons, drugs, prescription medicine, live animals and anything restricted by customs. See the prohibited items list for details.
What's a listing?
A personal shopper's open PO: the items they can get, with prices, an optional limit on orders and a closing date. Buyers ask questions in the comments, then make an offer. When the shopper accepts, it becomes an order you can track — and once the limit is reached the listing shows as sold out.
How do shoppers post where they are?
Shoppers pick the shop, market or event they're at from Google Maps search — the country is detected automatically — and add photos. People back home see it in their feed, comment, and send requests.
I already take shopping requests on Instagram or TikTok. Why use Shopper2U?
You get a free shopper page for your link-in-bio with your live listings, followers get notified when you post, and comments, offers, chats, order tracking and reviews are all in one place instead of scattered DMs.
